That's why I'm not going. I do want to go to the SHOT show in Orlando in January( I think). Should be some very swell new weapons on display. Need some new one's since that terrible fire in my firearms room(room OK, weapons destroyed).

Re: Gun Show Orlando Florida

It was indeed a mad house. They advertised that it was 9-5....it was opened at 8. I was there at 9:15 and there were about 50 people in line plus the hundred inside already. After I made my first purchase and on my way to the car at about 10:15 both buildings were packed and there still about 150 still inline to pay. As I left the second time at about noon there were still about 150 inline and the buildings were over packed. The fire marshall shouldahve been there to see that one.

I spoke with several dealers and other buyers and they see the writing on the wall also. Yikes--only time will tell the result of the elections.

Prices:

AK's...ranged from about $599.00 for a Romanian WASR-10 up through the roof on better ones. They was no shortage of them.
Albanian SKS's...ranged from 575 and up.
AR-15's...varied on make and model..ranged from 925 to infinity.
One guy was trying to sell his 1968 AR-15 SP for $2500.00. I looked but it wasn't worth it to me. An M4 Bushmaster $1,599 with collapsable stock

Hi cap magazines:
AK's..varied..ranged from 35 and up depending on the manufacture.
Spoke to 3 different dealers..did not look good. One said that he anticipates that the price will beyond 100.00
after the first of the year on the AK magazines. He thinks that that will be another way to
restrict gun owners--tax everything to the hilt that has to do with guns---ammo, bullets, powder, lead, primers.
AR15...30 rounders...20.00 for used..really used. Standard military
30 rounders..$20.00
45 M1911..15 rounders 24.99
Glock..33 rounders $40.00

Ammo...again it varied
AK..7.62x39...279.00/1000
223..............again varied...ranged with manufacturer...most
Russian/Wolf..$269.00/1000 up to 475.00/100 for Remington
45cal...Remington...$175.00/500 for FMC ACP and $185.00/500
for ACP Hollow points

Hopes this helps everyone.

Saw 10 times the number of people selling personal guns outside at the entrance.

There's one coming to my area - Ft. Walton Beach Fairgrounds 6-7 Dec.

Yeah, these guys are getting in on the act, too. These shows were $6 to get in since I've been following them - this time it will cost you $7. Bastahds....

A $6 or $7 cover charge? They better have strippers.

I wouldn't guarantee "strippers", you might find some; but I bet you will find some Lula Loaders if you look hard enough!

I went to one in Kingsport, TN 2 weeks ago and it was $10 to get in. My wife went along so it cost us $20 just to get in the door. I doubt I will be going back anytime soon.

I have gone many time just to buy guns from people waiting to go in.
(spent my money and left even before paying to get in).

So important to have a pocket full of cash, best deal are outside the building

plus I have a hard time being around a crowd that seems to have to wear their camo 365 days a year
